Growing and care guide
Growing Instructions
- 1
Plant dormant rooted vines in February or March along sturdy trellises.
- 2
Vigorous shoot and cane growth runs from May through July.
- 3
Dark grape clusters sweeten and harvest from late August through September.
- 4
Prune dormant canes back to 2-3 buds in January or February while vine is dormant.
Care Instructions
Water weekly during active growth; increase slightly at berry set and reduce near ripening.
Mulch the root zone to conserve moisture and suppress weeds.
Thin dense clusters and side shoots to improve airflow and reduce rot risk.
Prune hard in dormancy; remove diseased canes immediately.
