Growing Instructions

Cultivated in climate-controlled polyhouses across Kashmir for cut flower production.

Commercial stems harvest continuously from May through October.

Polyhouses must be heated to prevent frost damage during severe sub-zero cold from November to March.

Harvest stems cleanly at the crown in early morning.
Harvesting Instructions

Harvest in the cool early morning when stems are fully turgid and hydration is peak.

Cut stems diagonally at a 45-degree angle using sharp, sanitized floral shears.

Strip all foliage from the lower portion of the stems that will sit submerged below the water line.
Vase Life & Care
Place immediately into clean, lukewarm water mixed with commercial floral preservative.
Recut stems by 1-2 cm under running water every 2 days to clear air embolisms.
Change vase water completely every 48 hours to prevent bacterial biofilm build-up.
Keep floral vase away from direct sunlight, heating vents, and ripening fruit (ethylene gas).
