Growing and care guide
Growing Instructions
- 1
Grow in a well-draining potting mix and place in a sunny location with several hours of sunlight daily.
- 2
Move outdoors during frost-free weather in spring. Flowering can continue through summer and autumn under favourable conditions.
- 3
Protect from frost during Kashmir winters by moving the pot to a bright, frost-free indoor location.
- 4
In early spring, remove dead growth and trim leggy stems to encourage compact, bushy growth.
Care Instructions
Water thoroughly when the upper layer of potting mix has dried, allowing excess water to drain freely.
Apply a balanced flowering-plant fertilizer during active growth according to the product label.
Remove faded flower clusters and yellowing leaves to maintain a tidy appearance and encourage further flowering.
Pinch back young shoots when needed to promote bushier growth.
Inspect periodically for aphids, whiteflies, and fungal problems, particularly when ventilation is poor.
